Pianist Johnny Varro was a frequent performer at Nick's in the 1950s.

Nick's was a haven for movie stars, mobsters, and sports heroes. Kenny Davern, late 1950s, with Alice Fay and Phil Harris, and bandleaders Pee Wee Erwin(top center) and Red Nichols(top right)
